Testimonials

Laying in post wedding blues and wanted to take a few minutes to express my sincere gratitude to you two and the band. You all were seriously kickass and so talented. Peyton Falgoust band made our wedding a true party that everyone can’t shut up about lol. Thibodaux surely knows who you are now!!! So many people have asked us about yall, so i have a feeling yall will be coming back for future weddings.

And a double special thanks to you for the music at the ceremony as well. It was angelic. I’m filled with joy. Max and I will be following you guys!!!!

Rock on,
Michelle

The two words “Thank you” will NEVER be enough to tell you and the entire band how I am feeing after Saturday.  From the music at the church to the music at the reception, y’all definitely are true professionals, with a whole lot of fun!

The music in the church was over the top absolutely beautiful!  The combination of each instrument in our church was the most wonderful backdrop for Michelle and Max’s wedding.  Regina, I have always been a Sound of Music fan.  I grew up watching the movie, knowing the words to every song, and still have my record album.  So of course Michelle grew up watching it with me, knowing the words to every song as well.  I had the processional song for my wedding 38 years ago, when all of my friends had the popular “Canon in D”.  As Michelle got older, she had always said she wanted the same song for her processional (Of course, I kind of instilled this in her at a very young age).  And from there, she added Edelweiss, I wanted Ave Maria, and between you and Michelle, y’all did the rest.  After reaching out to you in the beginning about playing the violin in church, you took care of the rest with Michelle, and we could not be more pleased.  Because of your backgrounds in music at Catholic Churches and knowing the timing of a Mass, I was very confident that y’all were the perfect combination for the ceremony.

I cannot count the number of times guests came to me at the reception saying how beautiful the music sounded in church.  Young and old, men and women – even a few non-Catholics!  The compliments kept coming.  My sister said she went back home to Old Metairie singing Edelweiss!

Now to the music at the reception- wow oh wow!!!  PFB is the best best best ever!  Since it was the first time y’all played in the Ballroom, I hope the venue lived up to your expectations.  I know my guests had no complaints at all!  Again, they all came up to me and wanted to know how I found y’all and where y’all were from.  Since I am a “River” gal, I was happy to say Garyville, but did point out that Peyton was from there, Regina from BR, Jerry from Metairie, and didn’t know the rest.  Chris and I were so happy to see “lil Peyton” again!  We had not seen him since he was about 12 years old at Donna and Armant’s house, when he played guitar in the backyard for parties.

I did speak to Paul Guidry for a while.  Since I am a Guidry from Reserve, we figured we might know the same people.  And you may have noticed that I danced to almost every song (I was the “older” lady in the sparkling long blue dress).   My Guidry’s love to party and dance and we are not afraid to show it.

I guess lastly, thank you for making everything so special for Michelle and Max.  From their Hooked on a Feeling first dance, to both on stage for Fireball, and then Michelle singing, y’all were truly THE band!  Each member of your band seemed to enjoy his and her roles and it projected to my guests, your audience.  I do appreciate that very much.

I apologize that this email ended up so long.  Y’all may get these thank you’s all the time, but I needed to express mine.  Please extend this to the rest of the members.  PFB is now my new band to follow!

Jerry introduced me to one of their sister-acts, The Peyton Falgoust Band, since Bag of Donuts was booked for the weekend. PFB was absolutely amazing from start to finish with their communication leading up to the wedding and then execution at the wedding. For me personally, the groom, music is a big part in my life – all genres. Finding PFB was absolutely perfect and whatever expectations I had were blown out of the water. PFB provided and played a great mix of music to cater to all aspects of the crowd. They were engaging and even let us, the bride and groom, sing our favorite songs with them on stage. The reception was an absolute hit….. UNTIL we got to the second line. PFB brought out the brass horns and lit the street up as we second lined to a local beer garden. I wish I could put into words the smile on faces throughout the crowd when I got on stage – it was priceless. I recommend PFB for not only weddings but any event that you want to guarantee a good time. My wife and I (along with friends that will definitely tag along!) will for sure be looking for PFB’s local performances and attending. Although our wedding weekend is now over, it brings comfort to know we have life long friends in PFB.

Thank y’all so much for everything!!! The live wedding music was the perfect little extra touch I wanted and was so beautiful (from what I remember because I sorta blacked out walking down the aisle lol) and the reception music was perfect!

So many people have told me they thought the band was SO GOOD… and I agree!!! It was such a fun time and a perfect day! Please tell Peyton and the rest of the band a huge thank you as well!

Peyton Falgoust and Krewe were FANTASTIC! We heard all night long how much everyone enjoyed the band. You all kept everyone singing and dancing all night and they wanted to stay longer. We live in Pensacola area and had many of of friends at the party. We can’t wait to get either Peyton Falgoust or Bag of Donuts or both to Pensacola.

I will copy you on another email with the Executive Director of Fiesta Pensacola who is interested in talking to you about one of the Fiesta events in 2023.

You guys rocked it and Eleanor had a night she will never forget. Have some great videos from the night I can share. The blinking cowboy hats were a fun addition.

Regards,

Catharine P.
