Regina Cates, sometimes violinist, sometimes fiddle player, has been putting her fiddle spin on funk, country, blues, rockers, and dance music, with Louisiana bands, for the past 6 years. She loves nothing more than gettin’ down with the crowd, and improvising – and is happiest on stage at festivals, clubs, weddings  celebrations of any kind. Regina works as a full time violinist – playing in the River Road String Quartet, liturgical violinist for the Diocese of Baton Rouge strings director of the Vianney Strings, and maintains a studio of 25 violin students. In her extra time, she loves on her 9 kids, who are the focal point and joy of her life. Oh, and Jesus too…
